I think that the teacher is still unfair to students who needs the examination.We are doing the bulletin you want too. Perhaps not all had but all of us have done the best at least. You notify us want how about have an examination in the last week How should then what we need to do the so-called negotiation to have an examination.Is your decision for want to embarrass us? Is the emotion bad that your game think of letting among our classmates?I have already lost much friendship for your lesson You should still embarrass us like this Benefit you? Do not still let classmate's emotion become bad If it is sad to see us if you will be happy Then you have accomplished Congratulations ~~ You are a winner But do you have win-win? Idon't think so .Whether I can pass this subject .I still want to tell you and me real ideas It is not winners to dally with others It was inglorious that you won at least.If this is the negotiation that you teach Have you succeeded? The student has had Your lesson impressions are not all very good It is not your teach no good, it is that your game method is wrong The result is very bad too will let me have a feeling deceived that has been known and done by it So many to have an examination .You are testing the human nature.Are you a successful negotiation expert Not just as to me Just we believe at the beginning that you will teach us right things But actually you want to let us discuss each other that detest the other side You just show your power because you are a teacher You grasp our credit We have to respect you what can we do right ?If offends you, I am very sorry
Thank you for letting me know your feeling about the game (negotiation exercise) we used to go through and the final examination which some of you are going to take. It is very important to have your feedback on the above matters.
As I have noticed, most of you were working pretty hard on this course, and some of you did show that you wanted to learn something from this course, rather than just muddle through it. I really like to see and teach such students as said above.
When writing a "negotiating letter" as you just did, I like to share some thoughts with you as below:
1. HAVE AN OBJECTIVE IN YOUR MIND FIRST -- in your letter, the objective should be: to waive a final exam.
2. HAVE A WARM AND CONSIDERATE OPENER (BEGINNING) -- in your letter, "the teacher is still unfair to" seems not a good choice for the opener.
3. ASKING SOME QUESTIONS TO MAKE SURE WHAT MY "CONCERN," "INTEREST," OR "FEAR" ARE IN TERMS OF GIVING OR NOR GIVING A FINAL. OR, YOU MAY QUOTE SOME STORIES ABOUT OTHER TEACHERS' FINAL TO SEE WHAT MY REACTIONS ARE -- in your letter, I did not see these kind of negotiating skills.
4. SHOW YOUR "POWER" (PERSONAL, LEGITIMATE, CONNECTIONAL...) TO HAVE THE OTHER PARTY PERCEIVE (FEEL) YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO NEGOTIATE WITH HIM OR HER -- in your letter, there were very few of them, except for the "We are doing the bulletin you want too."
5. BETTER NOT USE "EMOTIONAL WORDS" IN THE NEGOTIATING LANGUAGES, SUCH AS "UNFAIR," "BENIFIT YOU," "CONGRATULATIONS -- YOU ARE A WINNER..."
Negotiation, as we can see from the previous exercise, is not an easy thing, and the key is -- patience and posture rather than challenge and blame.
I do not want you not to allow our to waive a final exam at the beginning . Because you hope to make us unwell It should for you not be hard of hearing to be unfair I do not think you mind our view I do not want to act as WINNER Act as to you I have not wanted the negotiation with you That is what you want Not me My power will be never taking your lesson Like this
